On travelling to Wolverhampton to spend Christmas with family, we decided to visit the Christmas Elf Experience as a treat for the kids... All in All, the whole thing was pretty crummy and very disappointing considering the price. The so-called magical walk through with the Elf looked pretty tacky and what was supposed to be a walk around New York and London, ended up just being a cardboard cut out of a yellow taxi cab and a Lego model of the Tower Bridge. To call this event magical, was a stretch to say the least. The Elf rushed us through the room so fast, the whole thing took no more than five minutes. We were also surprised to learn that the photo with Santa was an extra charge on top of the ticket price. The present wasn't worth the price either. Quite a money racket in my opinion. We then ventured over to the Brasserie to get refreshments, but ended not bothering when we were told that they had run out of milk for drinks and the cakes were all pre-packaged and obviously not freshly made on site. I think the Manager's of this place need to get their act together a little more for next Christmas. In conclusion, pretty poor show!

Had a delicious meal at Eden brasserie yesterday. The food is excellent, well presented, fresh and stays hot for a reasonable time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cafe is comfortable with some lovely comfy leather sofas and plenty of news papers to read. Recommended as a good place to eat. The garden centre has been greatly improved with a The Works outlet and a nice pet department. There is a good quality selection of plants shrubs and trees etc. The garden centre staff are knowledgeable and approachable. A lovely family run garden centre with competitive prices.
